Hi everyone! Finally I am going to post some of the many projects I have been sewing for months. Don't ask me why it is so hard for me to post, but I am going to try and post at least once a week now. I am working a much better schedule that I have been asking for for quite some time!The company I worked for was sold and the new owner hired me immediately! Thank goodness! I will work Monday through Thursday. Great for me!! Who can live on Social Security? It would cover all of my bills but not extras for fabric, etc...now what kind of life would that be?
Now for some of my sewing projects! I will start off with the darling pattern that
Fabric Mutt designed. The minute I saw her
Malibu Satchel, I knew I had to make one...or two...or three! Yes, I made three of them last week. It is so easy to sew, but looks so professional when it is finished. Here is a peek at my bags.

After I finished my first satchel, I had to make more. The next one I made for my daughter-in-law. I chose fall colors for hers. Believe it or not, I did not buy any of the fabric at the same time for any of the bags. I always pick up remnants when I shop and I have been lucky that I can usually find things that go together.

I decided to go "bright" with my third bag! I had just gotten some great home decor fabric at Joann's when it was greatly reduced so I chose some of it! This time I made my own straps instead of webbing so that they would match the satchel exactly. I like how it turned out!

Since I haven't been around in a long time, I thought I would add a GIVEAWAY!!! A friend of mine found this great Alexander Henry fabric at a yard sale!
