SEWN GIVEAWAY
Since I can not draw the winning number until I get home from work tomorrow, I will extend the posting time until 3 PM EDT on Monday. I will draw a number(or maybe two...I like surprises, also!) as soon as I get home and announce the winner at 5 PM EDT tomorrow. Thanks to all of you for visiting and making such nice comments. I hope that I didn't make anyone "dizzy" today while I was playing with my background!OK everyone, I am going to bite the bullet and join the party! Since I was so lucky in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway, I think that it is only fair that I give something back! So for my first ever giveaway, here are the goodies I am offering:
3 Fat Quarters(hope you like polka dots!)
4 10" zippers
A package of Quilt Label Fabric Sheets
I love making my own labels and it is soooo easy! I didn't use the templates that comes in the package but used Avery Templates. I easily fit 30 labels on a sheet. It was so much fun picking out my logo and then printing it up myself. Here is one of the first labels I made.
I guess you are wondering how to win this giveaway package! Well, it is really easy. Just leave a comment in this post. Nothing fancy, just Hi! or maybe even tell me what logo you will use on your label if you win. I will leave comments open until midnight(EDT), Sunday June 7th and I'll pick the winner by a random draw on Monday June 8th as soon as I get home from work! Everyone is welcome to join in no matter where you live! Make sure you leave me a way to contact you!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog and entering for my giveaway. I teach patchwork and quilting and have a studio at my home and my business is called The Sawmillers Daughter. I also go to some fairs and shows and sell some items so that name is what I would put on my labels.

ReplyDeleteLove the polka dots and the labels.
ReplyDeleteLovely assortment of goodies. I go through alot of zips making humbug bags and now the girls want purses with zippers...they like to make my life difficult don't you know? But the rich colors of your zips are very nice. I'm horrible about labelling my quilts...I usually end up just writing on the quilt itself...very unprofessional I know! Hope I win.
ReplyDeleteI always forget to label my quilts, so maybe this would help me remember! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCute! Yes, I love polka dots...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway! I've never used anything actually designed for quilt labels before; I tend to write on a piece of white fabric with a fine point Sharpie! This would be a really fun prize. Thanks for the chance at winning.
ReplyDeletePolka dots are great, please count me in. Thanks for taking part :)

ReplyDeleteSounds great! I've just learned how to put in a zipper, so this would be great tools to practice with. I also am doubling my number of grandchildren this year and want to make them all a quilt for Christmas (don't know if I'll actually accomplish that) it would be great to have labels to go on them.
ReplyDeleteZippers! Woo Hoo...got some pouches in mind for those! I hadn't seen the quilt labels before so that would be a bonus!

Hi, great giveaway and I'd love3 to win as I love Polka dots!!!
ReplyDeletelibertythreads@charter.net
Who doesn't love polka dots?! Lovely colored zippers too. I've only ever made labels that was supposed to be like hang tags but it was a huge disaster. I'm a newbie to quilting and one of the things I forget about doing is making a label for the quilt with important info like made by, the year, etc. I would do that with these. Please put my name in the hat.
ReplyDeletegalaxie_bleu(at)yahoo(dot)com
Polka dots! That is one of my favorites! And I really need new labels I never have enough.
